I like to be upbeat, although I am sure we all have our days… That being said, I am also very level headed and practical, and I have finally accepted myself and enjoy being myself!

You probably noticed my title right off. Anyone who knows of Hestia knows she was the goddess of the hearth, was helpful to her followers, but did it all behind the scenes. She didn't ask for sacrifices or unconditional service, much unlike the other gods/goddesses. This is my concept of helping. I love to help the people I care about, or even people I don't even know, but I don't want the credit or fame that goes with it.

I also try to be silly because life is just more fun that way. I have a huge smile which is just contagious, so don't be around me if you don't want to smile!

I recently left my new husband as he heads for training before he heads out for Iraq. Our days of marital bliss were short, but wonderful, and I plan to continue them when he returns.

I work, and go to school, of course. I am finishing a Bachelor's….considering Master's after that :D
